Scott, a Pittsburgh PA native, has seen firsthand the challenges facing smaller, local, communities as they strive to retain their integrity and vibrancy. Working in conjunction with local leaders, he’s been able to create a model that delivers unique, area specific, community centers that aid in improving quality of community life while making it easier to anticipate and manage change. Scott is the recipient of the Allegheny County Difference Maker Award, sits on the North Hills School District Advisory Board, is a Council member at Berkeley Hills Lutheran Church, active with Get Involved (a local organization promoting volunteerism and community development) and a former member of several municipal boards.
Professionally, Scott is retired from IBM after a 35 year career in technology sales and marketing. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and is father to two grown children and, most recently, has become a grandfather.
Jean has spent her career in nursing, working with under-performing schools in the Pittsburgh area. She has seen firsthand the impact of emerging negative trends on students as they struggle with basics ranging from food & clothing insecurity to unstable homelife and is passionate about helping children. She has seen firsthand the impact of emerging negative trends on students as they struggle with basics ranging from food & clothing insecurity to unstable homelife and is passionate about helping children. This firsthand knowledge is invaluable in designing programs that deliver much needed support to the younger members of these communities.
Jean will be retiring this year after nearly 40 years in the nursing and education fields. She supports numerous community programs and is a graduate of Duquesne University. Jean has two grown children and makes a mean biscotti.

Greg has worked with other charitable organizations in the past, including The James Farrior Foundation and the Bobbi Engram Sickle Cell Foundation.
